The Sandhurst Donkey Derby is a major community event in the Sandhurst area of Berkshire and it raises funds for both local and national charitable causes. It takes place at the Bull & Butcher field in Sandhurst on the May Bank holiday Monday - which is always the last Monday of the month. Over the years it has developed into one of the largest annual events in the local region. Attendance can vary, depending on the weather, but it has been over 10,000 in recent years.
